We hope bringing this series to you each Friday will help keep you informed while also giving you some more lighthearted reads for the end of your work week.
This week, we’re highlighting some of the products that impressed us the most from this year’s edition of CES (Consumer Electronics Showcase), which took place over the past few days.
1. Mercedes’ F 015 Luxury in Motion concept – The German automaker’s CES contribution was a radical concept for a self-driving car with features such as front seats that swivel 180 degrees. It’s pretty much a spaceship.
2.The Bionic Bird – A uniquely shaped drone, the Bionic Bird has a Bluetooth radio inside and can be controlled with a smartphone. To charge it, you connect it via magnets to a white plastic egg. Clever.
3. Sling TV – The future of television. An internet TV service that gives you the channels you love, on any screen, anywhere, without a subscription to traditional cable or satellite TV service.
4. LG Art Slim 4K OLED – There were a lot of TV’s on display but this LG impressed us the most.
5. Belty – a motorized belt buckle that tightens and loosens itself. If you’ve eaten a little too much for lunch, it’ll slacken slightly to make you more comfortable until you’ve had a chance to digest — then tighten back up afterwards. It even has activity-tracking capabilities.
